Inter Milan Face Major Obstacle in Pursuit of Tarik Muharemovic

Tarik Muharemovic remains one of the main defensive targets for Inter Milan, but the potential transfer from Sassuolo has become increasingly complicated. Financial conditions involving multiple clubs are creating significant difficulties for Inter as negotiations continue.

The biggest issue comes from a special clause held by Juventus, which reportedly guarantees the Turin club 50 percent of any future transfer profit involving the young defender. Because of this agreement, Juventus would automatically benefit from any successful deal between Sassuolo and Inter, adding another layer of tension to the negotiations.

Inter are believed to be preparing an offer worth around €25 million and may include a young player as part of the package to reduce the cash payment. However, that approach is reportedly not attractive to Juventus, who prefer a fully cash-based transfer in order to maximize the value of their sell-on clause.

This situation has placed Sassuolo in a difficult position. Accepting players in exchange could lower the direct financial return shared with Juventus, while demanding a full cash agreement would force Inter to spend far more than originally planned. The disagreement over the structure of the deal has slowed progress considerably.

The race for Muharemovic is becoming even more competitive as several Premier League clubs are reportedly ready to submit offers between €30 million and €40 million in cash. Such bids would strongly benefit Juventus and Sassuolo financially, but they could effectively end Inter's hopes of securing the highly rated defender.
