According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea attacker Estêvão Willian has been left out of Brazil’s squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers due to injury.
Romano reported that Estêvão’s injury has repeatedly relapsed, preventing him from recovering in time for the matches. In addition, the Brazil national football team made the decision after taking feedback from Chelsea F.C. into consideration.
This season, Estêvão has made 22 league appearances for Chelsea, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
