Jay Idzes’ Market Value Soars After Stellar Season While Emil Audero Faces Decline Despite Impressive Performances

Indonesia captain Jay Idzes has experienced a significant rise in market value following an outstanding 2025/26 campaign in Italian football. The Sassuolo defender saw his estimated value climb dramatically, reflecting his growing reputation and consistent performances throughout the season.
The 25-year-old center-back became a key figure for Sassuolo, making 35 starts across all competitions and securing a regular place in the club’s Serie A lineup. With more than 3,000 minutes of playing time, Idzes established himself as one of the team’s most reliable players and played an important role in their defensive structure.
His impressive displays earned widespread recognition within the club. Reports from Italy highlighted Idzes as one of Sassuolo’s standout performers of the season, placing him alongside several highly regarded teammates and even ahead of a number of established stars in internal performance assessments.
Meanwhile, Indonesia goalkeeper Emil Audero enjoyed a strong individual season with Cremonese. The 29-year-old shot-stopper recorded the highest number of saves in Serie A, producing 125 stops in 34 league appearances. His performances also placed him ahead of several well-known goalkeepers in Italy, underlining his importance to the team throughout the campaign.
Despite those achievements, Audero’s market value declined after Cremonese failed to avoid relegation from Serie A. The club’s drop to the second division negatively affected the goalkeeper’s valuation, demonstrating how team results can influence a player’s market standing even when individual performances remain at a high level.
