Ten-man USA beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 2–0 to reach the Round of 16

Later, Malik Tillman scored directly from a free kick to extend the lead. In the 45th minute, Balogun received the ball inside the penalty area and finished with a low shot to score, giving the United States a 1–0 lead over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the 82nd minute, Malik Tillman scored directly from a free kick to make it 2–0 for the United States against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
