2026 FIFA World Cup Round of 16: Colombia defeated Ghana 1-0. Arias opened the scoring with a close-range finish in the 14th minute. Both teams suffered one injury substitution each in the first half. In the second half, Díaz had a goal disallowed for offside, and later missed a clear one-on-one chance. In the end, Colombia edged Ghana 1-0 to advance to the Round of 16, where they will face Switzerland.
