Fulham Appoints Alvaro Arbeloa as Head Coach on Long-Term Deal

Fulham F.C. has confirmed the appointment of Alvaro Arbeloa as its new head coach. The former Spanish international has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2029, marking the beginning of a new chapter for both the club and the 43-year-old manager.

Arbeloa enters the role after developing his coaching career within the Real Madrid CF system. Following a highly successful playing career, he transitioned into coaching by working with the club's youth academy before steadily climbing through the ranks thanks to a series of strong performances and trophy-winning campaigns.

His coaching journey began with Real Madrid's Under-14 team, where he secured a league title in his first season. Continued success led to promotions with the Under-16 and Under-19 squads, and he guided the latter to an impressive treble that included the league title, the domestic cup, and the UEFA Youth League, establishing himself as one of the club's most promising young coaches.

After another successful campaign, Arbeloa took charge of Real Madrid Castilla, replacing club legend Raul Gonzalez. His time with the reserve side was brief, as he was later promoted to manage Real Madrid's first team following the departure of Xabi Alonso.

Fulham believes Arbeloa's experience in developing players and leading successful teams will help the club continue its progress in English football. His first major challenge is expected to come in the opening match of the new season, where Fulham will face Chelsea F.C. in a highly anticipated Premier League encounter.
