Como have emerged as one of Europe's biggest spenders during the 2026 summer transfer window, investing more than €100 million to strengthen their squad. The club's aggressive recruitment strategy highlights its determination to compete at the highest level ahead of a historic campaign.

The upcoming 2026/27 season marks Como's first appearance in the UEFA Champions League, prompting the club to make significant investments in quality players. Backed by ambitious ownership and guided by Cesc Fàbregas, the Italian side is building a squad capable of challenging both domestically and in Europe.

The headline signing is Nico Paz, who joined permanently from Real Madrid in a deal worth €60 million. The Argentine midfielder has become the most expensive player in Como's history, reflecting the club's belief that he can play a central role in its long-term project.

Como have also secured the arrival of Yan Couto from Borussia Dortmund for around €20 million, while Brazilian full-back Kaiki joined on a loan agreement that includes a mandatory €14 million purchase clause. Midfielder Luis Milla has also been added to the squad, and the club is reportedly close to completing the signing of promising youngster Mattia Liberali.

With total spending already reaching approximately €106 million, Como's business may not be finished. The club is still targeting defensive reinforcements and another striker to improve squad depth, and if those deals are completed, their total investment this summer could rise to around €150 million, underlining their ambition to establish themselves as a serious force in European football.
