Major Overhaul! Manchester City See 10 First-Team Departures This Summer, Seal Bouaddi Deal & Spend €130m on Anderson

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano announced early this morning with his iconic “Here We Go!” that Manchester City midfielder Nico González will join Newcastle for a total package worth £50 million. Manchester City will also sign Palmeiras winger Allan for €40 million.



With González included, Manchester City will have 10 first-team players leaving the club this summer:
- Bernardo Silva — joins Real Madrid on a free transfer
- Nico González — “Here We Go!” to Newcastle, official announcement pending
- John Stones — joins Inter Milan on a free transfer
- Tijjani Reijnders — joins Al-Qadsiah
- Rodri — joins Barcelona
- Nathan Aké — joins Fenerbahçe
- Manuel Akanji — joins Inter Milan
- James Trafford — joins Leeds United
- Omar Marmoush — “Here We Go!” to Tottenham, official announcement pending
- Savinho — “Here We Go!” to Tottenham, official announcement pending



On the incoming side, Manchester City have spent £116 million (€135 million) to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson. They have also agreed a €100 million total deal for 18-year-old Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, while a €40 million deal has been agreed for Palmeiras winger Allan.

In addition, reports indicate that Manchester City are still pursuing Enzo Fernández, whose asking price is believed to be well over €100 million.

However, compared with their spending on new signings, the number of first-team players leaving Manchester City this summer is strikingly high.
