Fiorentina Turn to Joshua Zirkzee as Moise Kean Edges Closer to Como Move
Fiorentina are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Joshua Zirkzee as they prepare for the potential departure of Moise Kean. The Viola are facing growing pressure over Kean’s future, with Como increasingly determined to bring the Italy international to the club during the summer transfer window. Fiorentina are therefore looking at possible replacements before allowing their key striker to leave.
According to reports from Italy, Zirkzee has moved ahead of Beto on Fiorentina’s list of preferred attacking targets. The Netherlands international is considered an attractive option because he could be available from Manchester United this summer. His potential arrival would give Fiorentina a technically gifted forward capable of filling the attacking role that could be left vacant by Kean.
Kean’s situation at Fiorentina has become increasingly complicated in recent days. The striker missed a team training session and was subsequently fined by the club, although he later agreed to complete an individual training session. His actions have further fueled speculation that he is pushing for a move away from Florence, with Como emerging as his preferred destination.
Como have already stepped up their efforts by submitting a second proposal worth €40 million for Kean. The offer reportedly includes €35 million in fixed payments and a further €5 million in potential bonuses. Fiorentina, however, are believed to be holding out for a higher valuation and remain unwilling to approve the transfer until they have secured a suitable replacement.
The club’s position reflects the transfer policy outlined by sporting director Fabio Paratici, who has stressed that Fiorentina will only sanction departures under specific conditions. A player must want the move, the financial offer must meet the club’s expectations, and Fiorentina must be able to bring in a replacement of equal or greater quality. With Zirkzee now emerging as a leading candidate, the Dutch forward could become central to Fiorentina’s plans if Kean eventually completes his move to Como.
