Three Clubs Maintain Perfect Starts in BRI Super League 2026/2027

The BRI Super League 2026/2027 has only reached its second week, but three teams have already established themselves as early contenders. Madura United, Persija Jakarta and Bali United have each collected six points from their opening two matches, making them the only sides with perfect records at this stage. Their strong starts have provided an early boost in what is expected to be a long and demanding campaign.

Persija have arguably made the biggest statement so far. The Jakarta side opened the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over Borneo FC before following it up with a 2-1 win against Persib Bandung. Both opponents finished near the top of the standings last season, making Persija's six-point haul particularly impressive and highlighting their ability to perform against strong competition.

Madura United have also enjoyed an excellent beginning to the campaign. They defeated Persijap Jepara 2-0 at Gelora Madura Ratu Pamelingan Stadium before securing a 3-1 victory away against PSS Sleman. The results underline their consistency across their first two fixtures, although maintaining that level will be crucial as the schedule becomes more demanding.

Bali United complete the group of three unbeaten teams with victories over PSS Sleman and Isenmulang Kalteng FC. After a 2-1 win in their opening match, Bali United produced an even more convincing performance in the second round, beating Isenmulang Kalteng FC 4-1. The four-goal display strengthened their positive start and gave them an early boost in terms of confidence and attacking momentum.

Despite their perfect records, all three teams know that six points after two matches are only the beginning. The BRI Super League season remains long, with plenty of challenges still ahead. Persija, Madura United and Bali United will need to maintain their consistency, focus and mentality if they want their impressive opening results to develop into a sustained challenge for the title.
