Brighton & Hove Albion will host Arsenal at the Amex Stadium in Premier League Gameweek 5 on Saturday. Brighton come into the match with plenty of confidence after two consecutive victories, while Arsenal have won all four of their league matches and all seven competitive games this season.

Team Analysis:
Brighton have made an encouraging start to the campaign and currently sit fifth in the Premier League. Fabian Hurzeler's side have scored 13 league goals, the highest total in the division at this stage, and recently produced a 5-0 victory over Coventry City. They then showed further character in midweek, coming from two goals down to beat Manchester United 3-2 in the EFL Cup.

However, Brighton face a much tougher defensive test against Arsenal. The Seagulls have attacking quality across the pitch, but Arsenal have conceded only one goal in their first four league matches. The Gunners have also won their last seven meetings with Brighton and completed the league double over them last season.

Arsenal have maintained a perfect start to their title defence, beating Manchester United, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Sunderland in their first four Premier League matches. They also progressed in the EFL Cup with a 4-2 victory over Ipswich Town, meaning Mikel Arteta's side have now won seven consecutive competitive matches.

The visitors should have the advantage in terms of defensive organisation and overall consistency. Brighton's attacking approach could create opportunities, but Arsenal's ability to control possession and limit clear chances may prove decisive.

Player Situation:
Brighton have several absentees, particularly in attacking areas. Evan Ferguson, Kaoru Mitoma, Yankuba Minteh and Stefanos Tzimas are unavailable, while Mats Wieffer, Jack Hinshelwood and Zadok Yohanna are also sidelined. Jaouen Hadjam is doubtful after picking up a knock, although Ferdi Kadioglu is expected to return to the starting XI.
