Arsenal in Talks with Wolves for Backup Keeper as Ramsdale's Future Uncertain

Arsenal are looking to bolster their goalkeeping ranks, with manager Mikel Arteta setting his sights on Wolves' Dan Bentley.  The Gunners have reportedly made contact with Wolves to gauge their interest in a potential transfer.

Bentley, who joined Wolves in 2022, has been more of a back-up option to Jose Sa, but his impressive performances have made him an attractive target for Arsenal. Wolves, however, are reluctant to let Bentley go, especially after he made a positive impact off the field, and would only consider a substantial offer.

The move comes as Arsenal's first-choice goalkeeper, David Raya, has just signed a permanent deal after a successful loan spell. However, the future of Aaron Ramsdale remains unclear, with the England international potentially seeking a move away after Raya's arrival.

This transfer pursuit suggests the Gunners are preparing for a potential departure from Ramsdale, and Bentley could provide a solid backup option.
