Luke Shaw Declares Himself Fit and Ready for England's Euro 2024 Semi-Final

After recovering from a hamstring injury, England's left-back Luke Shaw has declared himself "fit and ready" to play 90 minutes in the Euro 2024 semi-final.  Shaw missed England's first four matches at the tournament, but he came on as a substitute in the quarterfinal win against Switzerland.

Shaw admitted it has been a "strange and difficult" experience being sidelined and watching from the sidelines, especially after a plan to return sooner was delayed by setbacks.  However, he is now focused on contributing to England's continued success at the tournament.

The 28-year-old is confident in England's performance and growth during the tournament so far, despite a more cautious approach than in previous years. He also defended manager Gareth Southgate against criticism, praising him for the success he has brought to the England team.
