Guardiola confirms: De Bruyne will not leave Manchester City

At the pre-match press conference against Celtic, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne will not be leaving this summer.
There were previous rumors that the 33-year-old Manchester City midfielder De Bruyne had reached an agreement with Saudi club Al-Ittihad and might leave Manchester City this summer. The Belgian midfielder has only one year left on his contract with the club. At the pre-match press conference against Celtic, Guardiola was asked about the transfer rumors concerning De Bruyne, and the Manchester City manager denied them: "No, Kevin (De Bruyne) will not be leaving."
Journalist Romano reported that Guardiola confirmed De Bruyne will not be joining the Saudi league this summer and that the agreement between De Bruyne and Al-Ittihad is fake news, which was already clarified yesterday.
