According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, Benfica's midfield star João Neves has agreed to a €5 million annual salary with Paris Saint-Germain.

The report claims that the 19-year-old João Neves is only a step away from joining Paris Saint-Germain. The two parties have agreed on a contract that runs until 2029, with an annual salary of €5 million. PSG is currently working on finalizing the transfer agreement with Benfica. Some media reports suggest that the transfer fee for João Neves to ultimately join Paris Saint-Germain will be as high as €80 million.
