Spurs Near Fourth and Fifth Summer Signings as Juventus Looks to Offload Chiesa
Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly closing in on their fourth and fifth signings of the summer transfer window. The club is on the verge of securing a deal for Federico Chiesa from Juventus. The Italian forward, who scored 10 goals and provided three assists for Juve last season, is being pushed towards an exit as Juventus aims to generate funds for their own transfer targets.

Chiesa, a versatile attacker capable of playing as a winger or second striker, has been linked with several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle United. However, Tottenham has taken the lead in the race for his signature. Recent reports suggest that Chiesa has agreed to a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a deal valued between €30-35 million (£25-29.5 million) imminent.

Juventus is eager to finalize Chiesa's sale to facilitate their own transfer activities, having already signed players like Douglas Luiz and Khephren Thuram this summer. The Italian club's new manager, Thiago Motta, has hinted at Chiesa's departure, stating, “For now he’s [a] Juventus player, then we will see…”

In addition to Chiesa, Tottenham is also close to securing a deal for South Korean talent Yang Min-hyuk from Gangwon FC. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given this move his “here we go” approval, indicating that the deal is all but done.

Tottenham's summer activity has been robust, with the club already extending Timo Werner’s loan, signing Leeds United's Archie Gray, and confirming the arrival of Swedish wonderkid Lucas Bergvall. Should Chiesa and Min-hyuk join, they will bolster a squad already featuring the likes of James Maddison, Son Heung-min, and Dejan Kulusevski.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is keen to strengthen his team further, with other targets including Dominic Solanke, Conor Gallagher, and Ebere Eze also on his radar.

With these strategic signings, Tottenham aims to enhance their competitiveness in the Premier League and beyond for the upcoming season.
