Roma will receive €9.2 million from Calafiori's transfer to Arsenal

Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori is about to transfer to Arsenal. It is well known that the Italian international has a complex transfer fee distribution. So, how much will his previous clubs receive?
Di Marzio reports that Arsenal has reached an agreement with Bologna to acquire the defender for €50 million. Of this, 50% of the capital gain will go to Basel. Bologna paid €4 million to sign Calafiori last year, so they will receive a capital gain of €46 million. Consequently, Basel will receive €23 million.
However, when Basel signed Calafiori from Roma, the agreement stipulated that Roma would receive 40% of the capital gain from any future transfers. Therefore, Roma will receive €9.2 million.
