Rangers vs Dynamo Kyiv: VAR Officials Replaced Amid Investigation

The Polish Football Association is probing reports of "improper behaviour" that led to a last-minute change in the VAR team for the Champions League qualifying match between Rangers and Dynamo Kyiv. Originally, Bartosz Frankowski and Tomasz Musial were slated to oversee the VAR operations for the game in Lublin, Poland. However, they were replaced by UEFA following an incident that reportedly involved police intervention.
UEFA released a statement indicating that the Polish FA's College of Referees will conduct a detailed analysis regarding the behaviour of the two referees from Poland's top league, who were initially assigned to the match. The newly appointed VAR officials also hail from the Polish FA.
Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Kyiv's home fixture was relocated to Lublin, with the return match scheduled for Hampden next Tuesday. The winner of this tie will go on to face either RB Salzburg or Twente in the play-off round.
