Sassuolo signs Salernitana central defender Lovato

Sassuolo officially announced that they have acquired Italian central defender Matteo Lovato from Salernitana on loan with an option to buy and a conditional obligation to buy.
The 24-year-old Lovato began his career at Padova and has since played for Verona, Atalanta, Cagliari, Salernitana, and Torino. Last season, he made 26 Serie A appearances for Salernitana and Torino (on loan), starting 17 of those matches.
Sassuolo has now confirmed that Lovato will join them on loan for the new season, competing in Serie B. The agreement includes an option to buy and a conditional obligation to buy clause.
