According to Italian Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Atalanta has increased their offer to €17 million in their pursuit of Celtic midfielder Matt O'Riley.

Di Marzio reports that Atalanta continues to chase the Celtic midfielder, having submitted a new bid in the past few hours, raising their previous offer to €17 million. However, this still does not meet Celtic's demands. If Atalanta wants to secure the Danish midfielder, they will need to submit a new offer to convince Celtic.

The report also notes that Atalanta will not approve the sale of Teun Koopmeiners until they finalize a new midfield signing.

In the 2023-24 season, the 23-year-old O'Riley made 49 appearances for Celtic, totaling 4,291 minutes of playing time, scoring 19 goals and providing 18 assists.
