Joane Gadou Leaves Paris Saint-Germain

According to reports from almost all French media outlets, including RMC, L'Équipe, and Le Parisien, 17-year-old Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) center-back Joane Gadou, who stands at 195 cm, is set to leave the club.
Le Parisien reports that the young defender is expected to join a Premier League or Bundesliga giant in the coming days, with PSG receiving a transfer fee for his departure. Despite numerous rumors linking Bayer Leverkusen with Gadou, it appears that the club will not be his next destination. However, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have shown consistent interest in the player.
In the Premier League, Arsenal and Manchester City have also been mentioned in connection with Gadou, with his playing style being compared to that of William Saliba.
During the 2023-24 season, Gadou represented PSG's U19 team in the UEFA Youth League and the U19 National Championship, where he won the U19 Championship. He has also been named in PSG's first-team squad for the UEFA Champions League match against Real Sociedad.
On the international stage, Gadou was a key player for the French national team during the U17 European Championship this summer, where he wore the captain's armband and became the leader of the team's defense.
Gadou's contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer of 2025. Rather than leaving on a free transfer, he prefers to secure a transfer fee for PSG. His decision to leave is reportedly due to the lack of first-team opportunities.
