Watford had also made an offer for Ballo-Toure

According to Daniele Longo, a journalist covering AC Milan for *Calciomercato*, Fodé Ballo-Touré failed to reach a financial agreement with Saint-Étienne, which disrupted the nearly completed negotiations. Saint-Étienne president Ivan Gazidis had reached a comprehensive agreement with Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani on the transfer, but the transfer fee plus bonuses did not even reach €1 million.
Ballo-Touré is still training alone, as he is not part of Milan's plans. In fact, he could be considered a problem for Milan. The Senegalese defender hopes to play in the Premier League, but Championship clubs, such as Watford, have also made offers to him. However, Watford backed out when faced with the player's salary demands of €1.2 million per year.
Currently, no other clubs have made an offer for Ballo-Touré. He also turned down an offer from Beşiktaş at the end of July, and now his agent is looking for a solution in France.
