Al-Ittihad is interested in Danilo Pereira

According to Portuguese media outlet *A Bola*, Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad has shown strong interest in Danilo Pereira, the Portuguese international, who might become another player making the move from European football to Saudi Arabia.

Although Porto had hoped to bring the defender and midfielder back to the Estádio do Dragão during this summer's transfer window, and the club's president, Pinto da Costa, confirmed this, they were ultimately unable to fulfill this wish due to Paris Saint-Germain's asking price of around €10 million.

While financial constraints posed a challenge for Porto, this is not an issue for the well-funded Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club has already spent €60 million in this transfer window to acquire French player Moussa Diaby from Aston Villa. Currently, Al-Ittihad's coach, Laurent Blanc, has another Portuguese player, Jota, under his command, alongside other football stars including Fabinho, Kanté, and Benzema.

In addition to Danilo Pereira, whose contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until 2025, Al-Ittihad has also set its sights on Barcelona's two defenders, Iñigo Martínez and Clément Lenglet.
