Pafundi will leave Switzerland and return to Udinese in December

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, 18-year-old Italian starlet Simone Pafundi will leave Swiss club Lausanne Sport at the end of this year and return to Udinese.

Pafundi made his debut for the Italian senior national team in November 2022 at just 16 years old. He joined Lausanne Sport on loan in January this year, with the loan period running until December, and the agreement reportedly includes a €15 million buyout option.

However, according to Schira, Pafundi will leave Lausanne Sport in December and return to Udinese. The young Italian talent wants to play in Serie A, and currently, two Serie A clubs are interested in signing the attacking prospect on a loan-to-buy basis.
