Official news: AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Sportiello, who was previously injured during the preseason, has returned to training.
During Milan's pre-season tour in the United States, Sportiello accidentally cut his left index finger on a hanging chandelier while undressing in his hotel room, resulting in an extensor tendon rupture.
He underwent surgery and has been sidelined since late July. Now, Milan has released photos of Sportiello participating in training, with the Italian goalkeeper already practicing saves, indicating that he is very close to making a full recovery.
