Bayern Munich is unlikely to extend Eric Dier's contract

According to a report by Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, it is unlikely that Bayern Munich will extend Eric Dier's contract.
The 30-year-old Dier joined Bayern from Tottenham in January, but so far this season, he has only made three substitute appearances for the club. His current contract is set to expire in June next year.
According to Plettenberg, it is very likely that Dier will leave Bayern when his contract expires next summer, as his opportunities under coach Vincent Kompany have been very limited. He has also been unable to compete with Kim Min-jae, Dayot Upamecano, and Hiroki Ito, who is nearing a return from injury, for a spot in the defense.
