Zandbergen, who currently plays for VVV-Venlo in the EersteDivisie, has had an impressive career trajectory, having previously played for several clubs including Sparta Rotterdam and FC Dordrecht. At 23 years old and standing over 180 cm tall, he fits the profile of a forward who could provide the attacking presence that Indonesia’s national team needs. With a growing reputation and a solid season at VVV-Venlo, he has made an impact with one assist in six matches for the club this year.
