Three Liga 1 Clubs to Move Home Grounds Next Season

Three Liga 1 clubs have announced plans to change their home stadiums for the upcoming season. Dewa United, currently competing for the 2024-25 Liga 1 title, is among the teams making this transition. The club has set its sights on Banten International Stadium (BIS) in Serang, Banten, as its new venue for the 2025-26 season, a stadium designed to meet international standards with a capacity of 30,000 seats.
In addition to Dewa United, PSIM Yogyakarta, who secured promotion to Liga 1 for the 2025-2026 season, will also move to a new stadium. Their current home, Stadion Mandala Krida, does not meet Liga 1's requirements, including a lack of floodlights for night games. As a result, they have decided to relocate to a more suitable venue.
Another club making a move is Bhayangkara FC, also promoted to Liga 1 for next season. They will leave their Jakarta base and set up at Stadion Sumpah Pemuda in Lampung. Bhayangkara, the 2017 Liga 1 champions, had previously played across several venues, including PTIK Stadium in Jakarta, as well as stadiums in Bekasi and Bogor.
