AC Milan Secures Final Spot and Financial Boost with Coppa Italia Victory

AC Milan secured a convincing 3-0 win over Inter Milan in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, advancing to the final with an aggregate score of 4-1. The match, held at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, saw two goals from Luka Jovic and another from TijjaniReijnders. This victory not only ensured Milan's spot in the Coppa Italia final but also provided significant financial benefits for the club.
Milan is expected to earn around 4.6 million euros for reaching the final, with the amount potentially rising to 7.1 million euros if they win the final against Bologna on May 14. This amount is similar to what they earned in the 2023-24 season, with further financial gains possible depending on their performance. Additionally, their participation as finalists will secure their place in the SupercoppaItaliana, where they are guaranteed a minimum income of 1.6 million euros.
Reaching the Coppa Italia final also opens up the possibility of qualifying for the 2025-26 UEFA Europa League, a crucial opportunity for Milan, who currently sit in ninth place in Serie A. If they remain in this position, they would not qualify for European competition next season. Qualification for the Europa League would bring in additional income from participation bonuses, TV rights, ticket sales, and merchandise.
