Al Nassr Unveils New Logo as the Club Celebrates Its 70th Anniversary

Al Nassr, the prominent football club from Saudi Arabia, introduced a redesigned logo ahead of its 70th anniversary. Founded on October 24, 1955, the club, now home to superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, marks a significant milestone this year. The updated logo reflects a more modern aesthetic by removing the crown element, while maintaining the iconic map of the Arabian Peninsula and adding the words "Riyadh 1955" to emphasize the club's heritage and origins.
The new emblem replaces the previous design that included the club’s full name, "Al-Nassr Football Club." This logo change comes during a period of high-profile signings for the club, including Ronaldo, who joined in 2022 with a lucrative contract worth €200 million per year. Alongside Ronaldo, Al Nassr also brought in top players like Sadio Mane and Marcelo Brozovic, aiming to strengthen their squad and challenge for major titles.
Despite these big signings, Al Nassr has struggled to reclaim its past glory in the Saudi Pro League, with their most recent championship win coming in the 2018/2019 season. As of the 2024-25 season, the club has failed to secure a league title and currently sits fourth in the standings. Ronaldo, however, leads the league's top scorer race with 23 goals, although his team's prospects of winning the championship this year appear unlikely with only two matches remaining.
