Persib Bandung Dominates Liga 1 2024/25 Awards with Two Major Honors
The Liga 1 2024-25 season concluded with Persib Bandung crowned as champions, solidifying their top position after securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Persis Solo in the final match. Finishing with 69 points, Persib outpaced runner-up Dewa United, who ended with 61 points, while Malut United and Persebaya Surabaya claimed third and fourth places respectively.
Beyond their team success, Persib also made a strong impact in the individual awards. Their midfielder Tyronne Del Pino was recognized as the best player of the season, and their coach Bojan Hodak earned the accolade for best coach. These honors reflected Persib’s dominance and consistency throughout the campaign.
Other notable individual awards included Arema FC’s Arkhan Fikri, who was named the best young player, and Alex Martins, who secured the golden boot as the league’s top goal scorer. These distinctions highlighted emerging talent and standout performers beyond the championship-winning squad.
