Beckham Putra Commits to Persib Bandung Until 2028 After Back-to-Back Titles

Young midfielder Beckham Putra Nugraha has officially extended his contract with Persib Bandung until 2028, following his significant role in the club’s consecutive Liga 1 championships. The decision reflects both the club’s confidence in his development and Beckham’s emergence as a key local talent entering his peak years as a professional footballer.
Beckham began his senior journey with Persib during the 2018-19 Indonesia Cup and made his Liga 1 debut in June 2019 at just 17 years old. Though his early career was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, he started to shine during the 2021-22 season and steadily became a consistent performer in the team’s midfield.
Over the past two seasons, his contributions have been crucial in Persib’s league success. In the 2023-24 season, he featured in 31 matches and scored twice. He followed that up with six goals in 29 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, showcasing his growing influence and attacking maturity on the field.
Now 23 years old, Beckham has amassed 112 appearances and 14 goals for the club. His contract extension signals Persib's long-term commitment to nurturing homegrown talent and continuing their domestic dominance. The club expects him to evolve into an even more impactful player over the next three years.
