Indonesian national team goalkeeper Emil Audero has drawn attention following his return from a vacation in Lombok, where he spent time after World Cup qualifying duties. During the international break, he featured in crucial matches against China and Japan for Indonesia. After a month-long rest, he has now returned to Italy and is preparing to rejoin Como 1907 for preseason training.

Emil’s return coincided with growing speculation about his future, as Juventus is reportedly monitoring him as a potential replacement for Mattia Perin. The Turin-based club is believed to be considering several options for their goalkeeping position, with Emil and Verona’s Lorenzo Montipò both mentioned as candidates. Although he currently plays for Como, Emil’s time there has been marked by limited opportunities. In early 2025, he was loaned out to Serie B side Palermo, where he played 14 matches, recorded three clean sheets, and conceded 20 goals.
