Persik Kediri Signs Imanol Garcia, Ex-Osasuna Midfielder with Promising CV

Persik Kediri has strengthened its squad for the 2025-26 Super League season by signing Imanol Garcia, a former Osasuna midfielder known for his strong European style of play. Standing 182 cm tall, he is expected to boost the team’s midfield, which has been in need of fresh talent and stability.

Imanol brings extensive experience from Spanish football, including a key role in Osasuna’s promotion to La Liga in the 2018-19 season. Before joining Persik, he made over 100 appearances with CD Alcoyano and has played for clubs like Villarreal B, Gimnastic, and Cordoba. His ability to create chances and control the game will add depth and versatility to Persik’s midfield.

The club’s management confirmed that Imanol’s signing aligns with coach Ong Kim Swee’s plan to make the midfield more dynamic and reliable. Alongside other foreign recruits, Imanol is expected to become a central figure, orchestrating play and adapting well to the fast pace of Indonesian football.
