Bali United Strengthens Defense with Dutch Recruit Tim Receveur

Bali United has signed Dutch defender Tim Receveur ahead of the 2025-26 Liga Super season. The versatile player, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, joins from Almere City, a top Dutch league club. The club hopes his adaptation will be smooth and his impact significant.
Tim brings valuable experience from the Netherlands, having developed through youth teams at Ajax and NEC Breda and played for several clubs including VVV-Venlo and FC Dordrecht. His background in one of Europe’s strongest leagues is expected to bolster Bali United’s defense.
The club’s CEO highlighted Tim’s role in strengthening their backline as they prepare for a demanding season. Bali United is building a solid squad under new league rules allowing 11 foreign players, with eight allowed on the field simultaneously.
With Tim’s arrival, Bali United now has six foreign players, aiming to enhance their competitiveness and maintain their status as one of Indonesia’s top teams.
