Malut United to Launch Team in Yogyakarta Amid Coaching Mystery

Malut United is set to officially launch their squad in Yogyakarta on Thursday, July 24, 2025, but the club is keeping the identity of their new head coach under wraps. Despite preparations for the upcoming BRI Super League 2025-26 season, no official announcement or visual clue has been released about who will lead the team.
Rumors suggest that Hendri Susilo has already taken charge, leading training sessions since late June. If confirmed, he would replace Imran Nahumarury, who recently moved to PSMS Medan. Susilo, a coach with AFC Pro License, brings experience and is expected to maintain or improve upon last season’s strong third-place finish.
Previously, Susilo managed Semen Padang and later Sriwijaya FC in Liga 2, where he successfully helped the team avoid relegation. His most notable achievement came in 2019, when he led Persiraja to promotion to Liga 1 after finishing third in Liga 2.
While the club has yet to confirm anything officially, the anticipation surrounding the coach’s identity adds to the excitement of the team’s launch. Malut United appears focused on sustaining its upward momentum, and the coaching decision will play a key role in shaping their upcoming campaign.
