AC Milan Secure Pervis Estupinan in €20 Million Transfer from Brighton

AC Milan have reached a verbal agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion for the transfer of Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupiñán. The deal is valued at €17 million with an additional €2 million in bonuses, totaling around €20 million. This transfer is set to bring a new long-term solution to Milan’s defense, with Estupiñán expected to fill the role previously held by Theo Hernandez.
The agreement was finalized following a three-way discussion involving Estupiñán’s agent Jorge Mendes, AC Milan representatives, and Brighton officials. Brighton granted approval for the transfer after identifying a suitable replacement, ensuring a smooth transition as Estupiñán prepares to leave the Premier League for Serie A.
Formalities such as the medical examination and final contract signing are now the only remaining steps before the deal becomes official. Once completed, Estupiñán is expected to join Milan’s preseason tour in Asia, either in Singapore or Hong Kong, depending on the timing of the final arrangements.
The 26-year-old defender brings solid experience and a dynamic playing style, making him a strong addition to Milan’s squad for the upcoming season. The move reflects Milan’s intent to reinforce their backline and challenge for domestic and European success with a more stable and aggressive defensive structure.
