Persija Jakarta Shifts Home Matches to Stadion Patriot Amid JIS Unavailability

Persija Jakarta has confirmed a new home venue for their upcoming BRI Super League fixtures after being forced to leave Jakarta International Stadium. The club, known as Macan Kemayoran, will host Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC at Stadion Patriot Candrabhaga in Bekasi as their temporary base. This move resolves weeks of uncertainty surrounding their home matches.
Following a 1-1 draw against Bali United at JIS, Persija is set to play two consecutive away games before returning to host Bhayangkara. They will travel to face PSM Makassar at Stadion Gelora BJ Habibie in Parepare on 21 September, followed by an away match against Borneo FC at Stadion Segiri, Samarinda, on 28 September. Their next home fixture is scheduled for 4 October.
The shift from JIS was triggered by a K-pop concert featuring NCT Dream on 27–28 September, which requires the stadium to undergo maintenance afterward. These repairs are expected to take several weeks, prompting Persija to secure an alternative venue to ensure their league schedule remains uninterrupted.
Originally, Persija had planned to use Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Senayan for the Bhayangkara match. However, the venue is being prepared for Indonesia’s Armed Forces’ 80th anniversary celebration on 5 October, making Stadion Patriot the only viable option for their temporary home ground.
