Indonesia U17 Prepare to Face Brazil Without Major Changes

The Indonesia U17 national team will make minimal changes to their lineup for their second Group H match against Brazil in the 2025 U17 World Cup. Following a 1-3 loss to Zambia in their opening game, Indonesia currently sits third in the group with zero points and a goal difference of minus two.
Coach Nova Arianto emphasized maintaining the same formation, acknowledging Brazil as one of the tournament favorites. He highlighted mental strength as a crucial factor for his team, encouraging the players to face Brazil without fear and to test the limits of their abilities on the field.
Brazil leads Group H after a commanding 7-0 victory over Honduras, giving them three points and a seven-goal advantage. Nova aims to motivate his squad to approach the match with courage and readiness, hoping the team can perform confidently against the South American giants.
After the encounter with Brazil, Indonesia will close their group stage campaign against Honduras on Monday, November 10. Only the top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will advance to the round of 32, making the remaining matches critical for Indonesia’s hopes in the tournament.
