His departure came just over a year after he shocked the football world by resigning from the Italian national team, where he had previously guided the Azzurri to major success.
Since then, Mancini’s name has been linked to several clubs in Italy. There were suggestions that Juventus considered him for their managerial position before ultimately hiring Luciano Spalletti. His profile continues to attract interest in Serie A due to his tactical background and experience at both club and international levels.
He has also been observed attending matches in Italy, including a recent Champions League fixture involving Atalanta. This has fueled speculation that he could be a candidate there should a coaching change occur.
