Real Madrid Rejects Juventus’ Player Swap Proposal

Recent reports suggest that Juventus approached Real Madrid with an unusual player swap involving two talented young Turkish players. The Italian club was trying to secure a contract extension for Kenan Yildiz, but negotiations repeatedly stalled, prompting them to explore alternative options to protect their interests.
Juventus reportedly proposed sending Yildiz to Madrid in exchange for Arda Guler, a key figure at Real Madrid. However, the idea was quickly dismissed by the Spanish club, which considers Guler an untouchable asset and central to both the present and future of the team.
While Madrid recognizes Yildiz’s talent, there is no urgency to acquire him, especially with Vinicius Jr. expected to stay. The club’s current priorities focus on strengthening central defense and adding a creative midfielder, areas that have shown weaknesses in recent seasons.
From Yildiz’s perspective, a move to Real Madrid would be a dream, as he admires the club and sees it as a platform to reach the highest level. Still, he remains realistic about the challenges of breaking into a world-class attacking lineup filled with established stars.
