Official: Ajax vs. Groningen Match to Resume Behind Closed Doors on Tuesday

The postponed Eredivisie Matchday 14 fixture between Ajax and Groningen has been officially scheduled to resume on Tuesday at 2:30 PM local time (8:30 PM WIB), according to official reports.

The match, originally played on Sunday evening, was interrupted and ultimately abandoned after approximately six minutes of play due to multiple incidents of pyrotechnics being set off on the pitch, with the score still level at 0-0.

The remainder of the match will be played out in its entirety, starting from the point of interruption. Crucially, the resumption of the game on Tuesday will take place behind closed doors, meaning no spectators will be allowed inside the stadium as a measure to prevent further disruptions.
