Indonesian Goalkeeper Leaves Kosovo Club as Interest from BRI Super League Emerges

Indonesian goalkeeper Cyrus Margono has officially ended his stint with KF Dukagjini, a top-flight club in the Kosovo league. The announcement appeared on his personal Instagram account at the end of November, marking the close of his tenure less than a year after joining the team in early 2025. His arrival at Dukagjini came after a six-month spell without a club following his departure from Panathinaikos.
Throughout his time in Kosovo, Margono served as one of the team’s key figures between the posts. He collected 30 appearances, recording ten clean sheets while conceding 32 goals. His performances also included three yellow cards, reflecting his active involvement in defending the squad across various competitions.
In his farewell message, Margono conveyed appreciation for the support he received during his stay and expressed optimism for the club’s future. He emphasized that his departure was the outcome of mutual discussions with Dukagjini’s management and highlighted his gratitude for the opportunity to develop within the Kosovo league environment.
As he enters a new phase of his career, the New York–born goalkeeper has hinted at enthusiasm for upcoming opportunities. His exit from Dukagjini has sparked curiosity about his next destination, with speculation emerging that several teams from Indonesia’s BRI Super League are monitoring his availability as the new season approaches.
