Record Signing Struggles: AC Milan's €37M Nkunku Remains Goal-less in Serie A

AC Milan suffered elimination from the Coppa Italia after a disappointing 0-1 loss to Lazio in the third round, with summer record signing Christopher Nkunku failing to make an impact off the bench.
Nkunku, who arrived from Chelsea in the summer transfer window for €37 million—making him the most expensive signing in Serie A during that period—played 26 minutes after coming on in the 64th minute. His contribution was minimal, recording only six touches and five passes, losing possession twice, and failing one aerial duel.
Since joining Milan, the French attacker has struggled to find his form, tallying only one goal and one assist across all 11 appearances (433 minutes played) in all competitions. More concerningly, Nkunku remains goal-less in the league, having only registered one assist in nine Serie A rounds.
The ongoing struggles of the club's record signing are adding pressure on the team, particularly after being knocked out of the domestic cup competition.
