PSSI Awards 2026 Unveils Star-Studded Nominees Across Nine Major Categories

The PSSI Awards 2026 is set to become a landmark annual event designed to honor the individuals who have significantly shaped Indonesian football. This inaugural edition celebrates players, coaches, match officials, supporters, and other contributors whose dedication has boosted the sport’s development nationwide. It represents a new chapter in PSSI’s efforts to highlight excellence across all levels of the game.
According to PT Garuda Sepakbola Indonesia CEO Marsal Masita, the awards will feature a total of seventeen categories. Nine of them fall under the Performance Awards, which will include public online voting, while the remaining eight belong to the Special Recognition Awards. The nomination process for the performance categories was carried out by an expert panel consisting of active players, coaches, and former coaches using data from the national teams and I.League.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place during the FIFA Series in March 2026, marking a key moment in the country’s football calendar. Public participation is strongly encouraged, with online voting set to open on January 1 and remain active until the end of February 2026. This approach aims to strengthen fan engagement and ensure that the winners truly reflect the voice of Indonesian football enthusiasts.
Across the nine Performance Awards categories, the nominees represent some of the finest talents in the country. These categories include accolades for the best male and female players, top goalkeepers, standout young talents, and achievements for the most memorable goal, assist, and save of the season. Each nominee has been selected based on consistent performance and overall impact throughout the competition year.
Among the highlighted names are Rizky Ridho, Calvin Verdonk, Jay Idzes, Viny Silfianus, Safira Ika, Emil Audero, Ernando Ari, and many promising young players such as Arkhan Fikri and Marselino Ferdinan. The lists also feature notable moments from domestic and international matches for the Goal, Assist, and Save of the Year categories. With strong competition across all divisions, the PSSI Awards 2026 is poised to become a prestigious platform celebrating Indonesian football excellence.
