"Here We Go!" Romano Confirms Endrick's Loan Move to Lyon

In his signature style, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has announced a "Here We Go" for Real Madrid's Brazilian forward Endrick, who is set to join Olympique Lyonnais on a short-term loan. This deal confirms reports that surfaced two months ago regarding the player’s search for more consistent playing time.
The terms of the agreement are straightforward: Endrick will join the French side on a straight loan with no option to buy, ensuring his return to the Santiago Bernabéu in June 2026. As part of the arrangement, Lyon has agreed to cover 50% of the player's salary. This move is seen as a strategic step by Real Madrid to allow their young talent to gain valuable experience in a competitive league after a challenging period in Spain.
Since his highly-anticipated €47.5 million move from Palmeiras, the 19-year-old has struggled to secure a place in Carlo Ancelotti’s rotation. This season, he has seen only 99 minutes of action across three appearances, a lack of rhythm that has seen his market value dip from a peak of €60 million to €25 million. By moving to Ligue 1, both the player and Real Madrid hope he can rediscover the clinical form that saw him score 7 goals for the club in his debut campaign.
