Persik Kediri Strengthens Attack with New Spanish and Brazilian Signings

Persik Kediri has taken significant steps to bolster its attacking options ahead of the second half of the 2025-26 Super League season. The club officially introduced two new foreign players from Spain and Brazil to enhance its forward line.

The Spanish addition, Ernesto Gomez, is a versatile midfielder capable of playing on either wing or as a central striker. He most recently played for UD Ibiza in Spain’s third division, bringing European experience and adaptability to Persik’s attacking setup.

The Brazilian striker, Rodrigo Diaz, joins the team after stints with PT Prachuap FC in Thailand and multiple clubs in Vietnam and Malaysia. Diaz has a proven record in Asia, including notable goal and assist tallies during his time in both Vietnam and Malaysia, demonstrating his ability to consistently contribute in competitive leagues.

These signings are intended to strengthen Persik Kediri’s frontline, which has been a focus area for improvement. The management and coaching staff expect the new players to complement the existing squad and add depth and creativity to the attack.
