Persis Solo Adds Firepower and Defensive Depth with Septian Bagaskara and Alexvan Djin
Persis Solo introduced two new local signings, Septian Bagaskara and Alexvan Djin, ahead of matchweek 20 of the 2025-26 Super League season. The arrivals are part of the club’s effort to strengthen squad depth and revive their campaign in the second half of the competition.
Septian Bagaskara joins as a forward, bringing experience from his time with Dewa United FC. He has also earned recognition at the national level after receiving a call-up to the Indonesian national team during the 2026 World Cup qualification period. His presence is expected to give Persis additional attacking options and improve their effectiveness in front of goal.
The striker expressed enthusiasm about the move and is eager to contribute as soon as possible. He views the transfer as an opportunity not only to develop personally but also to help the team recover from a difficult run of results and climb to a safer position in the standings.
On the defensive side, Persis secured right-back Alexvan Djin, who previously played for Persela Lamongan in the Championship. His arrival is intended to strengthen the back line and provide more balance to the squad, particularly in matches that demand defensive discipline and consistency.
Alexvan is determined to deliver strong performances and believes teamwork and mutual trust will be essential as Persis aims to improve its league position. He also highlighted the importance of supporter backing, noting that positive encouragement from fans can boost the team’s motivation as they fight to secure better results in the remainder of the season.
