Ricky Kambuaya Attracts Overseas Interest, Dewa United Faces Tough Decisions

Ricky Kambuaya, the 29-year-old midfielder of Dewa United, has recently drawn attention from multiple clubs, including teams outside of Indonesia. The club has confirmed receiving offers and is currently evaluating the player’s future carefully.
The president of Dewa United, Ardian Satya Negara, revealed that Kambuaya is being scouted not only by Indonesian Super League teams but also by some clubs beyond Asia. This interest highlights the midfielder’s strong performance during the current season, marking him as one of the standout players in the league.
Since joining Dewa United from Persib Bandung in 2023, Kambuaya has appeared in 81 matches for the club. In the ongoing BRI Super League season, he has played 21 games, contributing one goal and three assists, demonstrating his consistent impact on the field.
Meanwhile, his teammate Egy Maulana Vikri has also attracted attention, but the club confirmed that Egy, 23, remains fully focused on Dewa United and has not received any offers from other clubs at this time.
Dewa United now faces a strategic decision regarding their squad. The management must weigh the option of keeping both Kambuaya and Egy to maintain team strength or allowing Kambuaya to leave if the incoming offers meet both the club’s and the player’s expectations.
