Inter Milan Eyes Perrone and Ostigard to Strengthen Squad This Summer

Inter Milan has identified two key targets for the upcoming transfer window: midfielder Maximo Perrone from Como and defender Leo Ostigard from Genoa. Both players have impressed this season, catching the attention of the club’s management as they plan to bolster the squad for next season.
Maximo Perrone, 23, has been a standout performer under Cesc Fabregas at Como, appearing in 27 matches and contributing with goals and assists. His consistent displays have made him a prime target, but negotiations are expected to be challenging due to his high valuation of 26 million euros.
On the defensive side, Inter is keen on Leo Ostigard, a 26-year-old central defender from Genoa. Known for his aerial prowess, Ostigard has also shown a surprising scoring ability, netting five goals this season, particularly capitalizing on set-piece situations.
Ostigard is valued at approximately 12 million euros and offers tactical flexibility, being capable of performing in both four- and three-defender formations. His versatility and goal threat make him an appealing addition to strengthen Inter’s backline.
Coach Cristian Chivu is supportive of these potential signings, recognizing the need for squad depth to compete effectively in Serie A. Strengthening both midfield and defense is seen as a strategic move to maintain competitiveness at the top of the league next season.
